Expired: The Mobiloo is making science accessible to all at the Science & Engineering Day in March!

Admin Uncategorized

As part of Winchester Science Centre’s ongoing commitment to making science accessible to all, Winchester Science Centre are taking the ‘Mobiloo’ mobile changing places to the University of Southampton’s Science & Engineering Day on Saturday 16th March.

Science and Engineering Day is a free celebration of Science and Engineering at the University of Southampton. Researchers from across the university share their work through interactive activities suitable for all ages. It’s also a great opportunity to explore some of the university’s facilities such as the anechoic chamber. You can find out more information about Science & Engineering Day and the wider festival by clicking here.

Winchester Science Centre’s zone will include a live science show, some interactive science busking and a space themed Invention Studio including sensory science activities. Further information about our activities can be found by clicking here. WSC and the Mobiloo will be located just in front of the Student’s Union. A map will be available on the website nearer the time.

Further information about the University of Southampton’s accessibility can be found here and here. The vast majority of activities on Science and Engineering Day take place on the ground floor of buildings with disabled access. If you have any questions or concerns about the day please get in touch with us via access@winchestersciencecentre.org
